These seven paintings contain information that have a substantial amount of significance; there are deep personal emotions attached to them. I will leave you to your own interpretations.

This series is based on a few things but all centered around things American. I was inspired by the outburst and blatant disrespect of President Obama during televised debates, patriotism, and my personal views and opinions of the great US of A. The health care system might be a mess amongst other things but this country is like a sweet slice of homemade apple pie, a la mode of course.
I was home one night and I had the urge to paint but all my supplies were at my studio. I was already using food products in other paintings and experimenting with different forms of liquid to create images so I decided to break out whatever I had around the house. I didn't have any paint brushes, only make-up brushes so I went with it. The result is what you see below. There will be more paintings created with this type of style in mind as I come across more ways to create images using other products besides paint. On a side note, I no longer use those make-up brushes for make-up. Just in case you were wondering.
This Elephant Series is something I started after finishing a couple paintings before these with elephants being the center of focus. They are majestic creatures in real life with mystical symbolism in different cultures, politics, and mythological events and stories. These will not be the last paintings with elephants being the center of focus. I find myself as an artist very drawn to them.
